I have been using Alteryx since early 2020 and quickly became proficient and passed the Core certification within 6 months. Between 2020 and now, our audit team has reduced from 12 people to 4. The utilization of Alteryx has allowed us to continue to operate at the same level by allowing us to use the data to tell us where we need to send more time. The following are some of the most beneficial analytics that I have written in the past 4 years:
- Countless analytics that reviews access to our many systems weekly against an active employee listing to ensure that terminated users are removed timely. Additionally, some of these provide additional information to the end user to tell them exactly who the employee with sensitive access is and what their position is and identifies any conflicting access. These have saved countless man hours over the past 4 years.
- Expense report analytics to identify items submitted more than once by any one employee.
- User Apps that allow the user to upload the details from a payment that will then tell them quickly where the payment should be applied.
- Customer trend analysis - allows us to identify customers who may pose a greater risk to the business.
