Austin, Texas, United States
Associate Analyst, Whole Foods Market
I have a passion for using data to solve real-world problems and am excited to apply these skills for social good. My background in retail operations has exposed me to the challenges of working with large, dynamic data sets and using analytical tools to develop meaningful insights.
I use SQL, Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau to analyze and visualize data and am always excited to learn new tools and approaches to problem-solving.
When I am not deep-diving into data, I love spending time outdoors at state and national parks, reading, and exploring Austin on my bike.
I live and work in Austin, Texas, where I am an Associate Analyst for the Data Analytics and Evolution team at Whole Foods. I love finding creative solutions to data problems in both my personal and professional life. I value positive, solution-based thinking and try to embody that in all the work that I do.
Before my current role in data operations for retail, I worked in the semiconductor industry.
There I used operational data from SAP as well as chemical data from analytical instruments to track and provide insights on new products in development.
Now at Whole Foods, I have continued to use ERP systems as well as our Data Warehouse to audit and report on operational product information. My primary focus is using SQL and Alteryx to develop quality control audits for the Operations teams to ensure data has been added and maintained throughout WFM systems effectively and accurately. This involves using Alteryx Designer to prep, merge, and analyze data. I also create dashboards and visualizations using Tableau to help partner teams better understand updates and changes to product information.
I strive to make the end user experience as simple and elegant as possible in all of my reporting and visualizations. I'd love to partner with your organization to create or improve your data experience!
