Organized Transact Latam – an event that brought together over 120 business leaders, subject matter experts, and speakers in the payments industry in Latin America and the USA, both in the private and public sector, serving as a Key point of contact for new partnerships and business developments;
Organize meetings and calls with key stakeholders in Central banks in Brazil and Mexico and private companies in the payments industry in both Latin America and the USA;
Engage in new member research to determine company revenue, business types, size, etc., for the Membership Director to determine dues, member categorization, and member engagements.
I'm Jimena Lopes de Jesus, currently serving as the LATAM Partnership Coordinator at the Electronic Transactions Association in Washington, DC. My academic foundation is in law, with a Bachelor’s degree from Centro Universitário do Maranhão and a Postgraduate Degree in Penal Law from Instituto Processus in Brazil. This legal background, combined with my strong organizational skills, enables me to effectively manage complex projects and events. I am currently furthering my education with a Business Management Certificate at Northern Virginia Community College. My role involves orchestrating high-profile international events, handling intricate logistics, and building cross-sector partnerships throughout the Americas. Being fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish allows me to thrive in diverse and multicultural settings, positioning me as a key asset in international contexts.
