Born in a small town in Southern Germany and went through immigration proceedings in 3 different countries to work for 3 different governments. Writing for newspapers during high school taught me to change perspective and focus on what readers (customers) find interesting. I learned from briefing Senior Leaders to present ”first things first” (“This is what you need to know”), rather than summarizing everything. Running large teams made me think about career development and advice I would give to others to advance. Building an in-house consulting team forced me to think about how to communicate and drive transformation - which frankly only works if you can paint an inspiring vision for the future.
