Pivoting from a non-technology background into Alteryx and Data Analytics? I've been there!

Hi! I'm Naomi Igboanugo, a Senior Manager in KPMG Asset Management Technology practice. I started my professional career as a tax accountant, and often say that stumbled into technology, data analytics and innovation. Starting from being an advanced Excel user and learning to create VBA macros, I taught myself to use Alteryx to improve my teams' work processes. Fast-forward 8 years into my career, I've pivoted fully in Data Automation, and I co-lead a team of 10 onshore and 10 offshore Alteryx Developers and Data Analysts. I'm Alteryx Advanced Certified, an Alteryx Innovator and a member of a niche group called Craferyx that brings people with a passion for crafting and Alteryx together!

I have and continue to benefit from having compassionate, honest and committed mentors in my career. These are values that are central to my mentorship style. On my team, I host quarterly Alteryx-themed team building challenges and escape rooms designed to make learning fun! I apply patience, detail and encouragement to my coaching approach.

With SparkED, my goal is to ignite the latent potential in students, especially those yet to discover their knack for data analytics. My vision is to mentor the uninitiated through the thrill of their first Alteryx success and watch as their confidence grows, and guide the already initiated to greater success.

Mentorship is a two-way learning process, so I'm excited to share and grow together in the Alteryx SparkED program!
